Objective To explore the effect of a mobile health intervention model based on self-determination theory on subthreshold depression in breast cancer patients. Methods By convenience sampling method,74 patients with breast cancer subthreshold depression who received chemotherapy in the breast department of a tertiary hospital in Guangxi from July 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the research subjects. According to the order of admission time, the patients admitted from February 2022 to August 2022 were taken as an experimental group, and the patients admitted from July 2021 to January 2022 were taken as a control group, with 37 cases in each group. On the basis of routine nursing, the experimental group implemented a mobile health intervention model based on self-determination theory. The control group received routine nursing, with every 21 days for 1 cycle and a total of 4 cycles of intervention. Before and after the intervention, the Centre for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale(CES-D),Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD-17),Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction Scale(BPNS) and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B) were used to evaluate the intervention effect. Results 34 patients in the experimental group and 36 patients in the control group completed the study. After intervention, the CES-D score and HAMD-17 score of the 2 groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05);the CES-D score and HAMD-17 score of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=7.748,P<0.001;t=8.150,P<0.001). The BPNS scores of the 2 groups were higher than those before the intervention, and the BPNS score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=-6.534,P<0.001). The scores of FACT-B in the 2 groups were higher than those before the intervention, and the scores of FACT-B in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(t=-4.579,P<0.001). Conclusion The mobile health intervention model based on self-determination theory can improve the subthreshold depression,self-determination and quality of life of breast cancer patients.

Objective To systematically evaluate the role transition experience of cancer caregivers, thereby identifying their support needs to develop targeted interventions. Methods The databases of PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase,EBSCO,Web of Science,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang, and CBM were retrieved for qualitative research about the role transition experience of caregivers of cancer patients. The retrieval period is from the establishment of the databases to March 2022. The quality of the literature was evaluated by JBI Critical Appraisal Tool for qualitative studies. Results A total of 14 studies were included, and 65 research results were extracted, which were grouped into 9 new categories. 3 integrated themes were finally synthesized:the process of cancer diagnosis was lengthy and complicated, and caregivers experienced difficulties in coping and especially had challenges in diagnosis disclosure;caregivers adopted different coping strategies to help patients to better cope with disease-related challenges, and to adapt to the role of caregivers;the newly derived meaning in the caregiving experience and role growth was gained. Conclusion Healthcare workers should be aware of the transitioning experience of cancer caregivers in taking this new role, and develop targeted ability training and psychological intervention programs,so as to promote the successful transition of the caregiver’s role and provide a family-centered transitional care plan in the future.

Objective To systematically review the qualitative research on the disease experience of patients with prostate cancer, and to provide references for improving the mental health of this population and establishing a support system. Methods The databases of PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane,Embase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,CBM were retrieved on qualitative research about the disease experience of prostate cancer patients. The retrieval period is from the establishment of the database to April 2021. The quality of the literature was evaluated by JBI Critical Appraisal Tool for qualitative studies. Results A total of 13 studies were included, and 50 clear study results were extracted. Similar study results were summarized into 8 new categories, and 3 integrated results were synthesized:self-perception changes in symptomatic prostate cancer patients accompanied by regression, leading to impaired male self-esteem and alienation in the intimate relationship of couples;differences in coping strategies among patients with different emotional experiences, which are manifested as avoidance of surrender and post-traumatic growth;patients have unmet needs in multiple dimensions, such as poor doctor-patient communication, lack of peer support, and low social attention, and they strive to seek relevant support. Conclusion Prostate cancer patients have many aspects of disease experience in the whole disease process. Healthcare professionals tend to ignore patients’ feelings and experiences, and should pay attention to and evaluate patients’ psychological feelings from multiple perspectives in the future. They should also provide comprehensive physical and mental care from the perspective of positive psychology to improve social support and improve their quality of life.

Objective To construct a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) continuous care program and to evaluate its application effect in discharged patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 102 patients with acute ischemic stroke hospitalized in the Department of Encephalopathy of a tertiary hospital in Guangxi from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects by convenience sampling method. They were randomly allocated into an experimental group(n=51) and a control group(n=51).The experimental group was carried out with the TCM continuous care program on the basis of routine nursing, while the control group received the routine nursing. At the time of discharge and 1 month,2 months and 3 months after discharge, the 2 groups of patients were investigated and evaluated by a simple Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale(FMA) and Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QOL). Results There was no significant difference in FMA score and SS-QOL score between the experimental group and the control group at the time of discharge(P>0.05). A month after discharge, there was no significant difference in the FMA score between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),but the SS-QOL score in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of FMA and SS-QOL in experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group at 2 and 3 months after discharge(P<0.05). 3 months after discharge, the clinical efficacy of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05). The analysis of variance of repeated measurement data showed that the interaction between groups, time, and inter-groups and time had statistically significant effects on FMA score and SS-QOL score(P<0.05). Conclusion The constructed TCM continuous care program is scientific and feasible, which can effectively improve the limb motor function of patients with acute ischemic stroke and improve their quality of life at home.
